Mongolian Language and Culture in Contact

The Institute of Asian Studies at CU FA cordially invites you to a conference „Mongolian Language and Culture in Contact.“

In the study of languages and cultures, contact has been steadily gaining recognition as one of the key forming factors. Nomadic societies, because of their mobility, have been constantly exposed to different influences through contact, as is no less true for Mongolians in the modern globalized world. This conference brings together researchers focusing on linguistic and cultural contacts and their impacts, both within the Mongolian society and between the Mongols and other cultures.
