New Issue of Litteraria Pragensia “Ireland and Scotland: Cultural Intersections Across the Irish Sea” Has Been Published

The latest issue of the journal, edited by Dr Petra Johana Poncarová and Dr Radvan Markus from the Department of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures at CU FA, has just been released. The journal is available in open access.

A New Catalogue of Faculty of Arts Press Publications Is Out

The list of books and journals published by CU FA in the academic year 2023/2024 is freely available online at books.ff.cuni.cz. The English version of the catalogue presents twelve open-access journals.

Academic from the Institute of Asian Studies at CU FA Co-Edited Publication The Lives and Legacy of Kim Sisŭp (1435–1493)

The book, co-authored by doc. Miriam Löwenstein, focuses on the most important figure in Korean literature and intellectual history, Kim Sisŭpa. The publication was also co-edited by a CU FA alumni and former lecturer, doc. Vladimír Glomb, who now teaches at the Free University of Berlin.

PhD Candidate at CU FA, Marta Mezhlumyan, Is the Co-Editor of Armenian Diaspora in Dynamics

This publication is devoted to the analysis of historical experience and modern trends in the development of Armenians in some countries. The publication is the result of cooperation between the Institute of Ethnology at CU FA and the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.

The Article of the Year 2022 in Aesthetics Was Published by CU FA

Simon Høffding, Carlos Vara Sánchez, and Tone Roald were awarded for their article “Being Moved by Art: A Phenomenological and Pragmatist Dialogue” published in Estetika: The European Journal of Aesthetics. The journal is published by CU FA in collaboration with Helskinki University Press. The award is organized by the Finnish Society for Aesthetics since 2015.
