The Office of Commercial Programmes and Cross-Sectoral Cooperation is mainly responsible for the organisation of semester and short-term teaching programmes for international students and individual payers from abroad, their promotion, and coordinating the preparation of new ones and the development of existing commercial study programmes and summer schools.

Medievalists from CU FA Co-Organised Conference on Medieval Studies in the Digital World in Bergen
On 19–23 June 2023, thirteen medievalists from CU FA participated in an international conference organised in cooperation between Charles University and Universitetet i Bergen within the project of the EEA and Norway Grants Bilateral Initiative.

Any discussion about a good film inevitably ends up being a discussion about life,” says Karel Och, the artistic director of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. A graduate of film studies at Facuty of Arts, Charles University, Och says he himself hardly goes to the films during the festival. He simply does not have the time because of his workload.
Applications to a New Study Programme, Russian Studies, Are Open until 14 August 2023
Russian Studies (Boris Nemtsov’s Study Program) is a new follow-up master’s full-time study programme conceived as territorial studies, taught in Russian with a wide range of lectures and seminars in English. The programme focuses on the study of Russia, emphasizing the period after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

The results of the entrance examinations to bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes were published on Friday, 23 June 2023, and to PhD programmes on Thursday, 29 June 2023. Each candidate can see the results in their SIS account.
CU FA Holds the Summer School of Scandinavian and Central European History of the 20th Century

Every June, Pride Month draws attention to the rights and culture of sexual minorities and the ongoing discrimination and homophobia against LGBTQ+ people. This year, CU FA joins the event with a series of lectures and discussion sessions aimed not only at raising awareness of LGBTQ+ but also at the history, literature, philosophy, and other related fields.
