The Third World Congress of Scottish Literatures will be held at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, on 24-28 June 2020. The Congress’s main theme, “Transnationalism and Minor Cultures”, invokes the crucial importance of transcultural communication, migration and social interconnectivity for the development of Scottish literatures.

On December 4, 2018, Czech National Corpus (CNC) has been officially approved as one of the K-centres of CLARIN, a European infrastructure (ESFRI) focused on language resources and tools for Humanities and Social Sciences.
