The traditional sports festival of Charles University is organized this year by the Department of Physical Education at CU FA on 14 May 2024 in Prague, Hradec Králové, and Pilsen. Offering a wide range of activities, the event allows you to learn about new sports, compare skills and performances, and also meet with classmates and colleagues in an informal environment.

President Čaputová Pays Tribute to Victims of December Shooting
During her visit to Prague on 18 March 2024, the Slovak President stopped in front of the main building of CU FA to pay tribute to the victims of the December shooting. She talked briefly with the Rector of Charles University Prof Milena Králíčková, the Dean of CU FA Dr Eva Lehečková, and several students.

Under the supervision of Assoc. Five-Day Festival Kafkus Hybernská 2024 Will Reveal the Mysterious, Merry, and Mischievous Face of Franz Kafka
On 19–23 March 2024, Campus Hybernská will be transformed into a space based on Kafka’s topology in his prose and diaries and a laboratory searching for the essence of Kafka’s genius. Stage readings, panel discussions, educational workshops, pop-up galleries, site-specific performances, and musical performances will all aim to bring Kafka’s unique mythology to life.
Dr Jarmila Horáková Received Romanian Decoration
On 21 February 2024, a Romanianist from the Institute of Ethnology and Central European and Balkan Studies at CU FA received the Romanian state decoration in the rank of Officer from the Romanian Ambassador to the CR, Antoaneta Barta, awarded by the President of Romania, Klaus Werner Iohannis, for the promotion of Romanian language and culture in the CR.
