On 22 and 23 September, there will be a lecture on the aesthetic notion of atmosphere, a presentation of the art project, and an online workshop dealing with public art. The event is part of the 4EU+ project “Public Art in Poland, Italy, and the Czech Republic.”

Czech Translation of Reginaldo Prandi’s Book Has Been Published
The book Contos e lendas da Amazônia (Ukradený déšť a jiné příběhy z Amazonie) was translated by students of Portugal and Luso-Brazilian Studies at the Department of Romance Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, under the supervision of Dr Šárka Grauová.

Kang-i Sun Chang’s Memories of “White Terror” in Taiwan
The Czech translation of the autobiography Cesta bílým terorem (Journey Through the White Terror) by Kang-i Sun Chang, a world-renown sinologist, has been published. The book recalls the period of persecutions in post-war Taiwan by giving the account of stormy family history with a preface by Prof Olga Lomová from CU FA.
