On Thursday, 30 September 2021, the PhD student from the Institute of Translation Studies at CU FA, Mgr. Michal Zahálka, has been awarded Jacques Derrida Prize, and Dr Jan Koura from the Institute of World History at CU FA has won the CEFRES Platform special award.

On 21-23 September 2022, the conference “The Czech Approach to Word Formation in the Context of Slavic Linguistics” is to be held in commemoration of 110 years since the birth and 20 years since the death of a prominent linguist and word formation specialist Miloš Dokulil.

Ar an Imeall i Lár an Domhain: New Publication on Irish Literature and Culture

A collection of essays based on the conference “Ar an Imeall i Lár an Domhain?”: An tairseachúlacht i litríocht agus i gcultúr na hÉireann agus na hEorpa, which was held in Prague in September 2017, has been published by Leabhar Breac. One of the editors is Radvan Markus from DALC at CU FA.

New Issue of Estetika: The European Journal of Aesthetics Published

A new issue of Estetika has been published on September 16, 2021. The issue consists of four research articles, a symposium, and two book reviews, covering a wide range of topics from the field of aesthetics and philosophy.
