President Appoints Milena Králíčková First-Ever Rectress of Charles University
On Wednesday, 26 January 2022, Professor Milena Králíčková – elected in the autumn by the Academic Senate as the next head of Charles University – was appointed by President Miloš Zeman at Prague Castle. Prof. Králíčková will take office at the beginning of February.

Prof Tomáš Halík Received Two Major Awards

Simultaneously, Prof Halík has become the first foreign laureate of Józef Tischner Award for prominent intellectuals, journalists, and social activists.
