The third round of the 4EU+ Visiting Professorship initiative has been announced
- short-term stay at one of the 4EU+ universities (Heidelberg University, Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, Sorbonne University in Paris, the University of Copenhagen, the University of Geneva, the University of Milan, and the University of Warsaw)
- share expertise and gain new perspectives
- participants can give lectures, develop joint training programmes, lead research projects, use the scientific facilities of the host universities or participate in the organisation of scientific workshops and conferences
Conditions:
- 1-2 month stays
- the mobility must take place within 1 January and 31 October 2026
- focus on early career scientists (with 2-7 years of professional experience upon PhD completion)
- applicants must have an employment contract at FA CU
- implementation of the 4EU+ Strategy 2025-2035

Selections are held 4 times a year, each for the following two quarters (during the given period it is only necessary to start the mobility, not to complete it).
CU deadlines:
- 15 March for mobilities from 1 April till 30 September
- 15 June for mobilities from 1 July till 20 December (the business trip accounting and the reimbursement request to the Rectorate must be done by the end of November, trips in December are not possible)
- 15 September for mobilities from 1 October till 20 December + 1 January till 31 March (the business trip accounting and the reimbursement request to the Rectorate must be done by the end of November, trips in December are not possible according to the rules)
- 15 December for mobilities from 1 January till 30 June
Applications can be submitted from the beginning of the month of the given deadline.
Call fo Applications – JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan FY2025
Applications from the Czech Republic are managed by the International Cooperation Department of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
The application deadline on the Czech side is April 28, 2025.
Successful applicants must begin their fellowship no later than November 30, 2025.
Eligibility
Applicants who have obtained their doctoral degree within six years from the start date of the fellowship (i.e., on or after April 2, 2019; see Application Guidelines) are eligible to apply.
The duration of the fellowship is 12 to 24 months.

Required Attachments (all documents must be in English or Japanese):
- PhD certificate + translation into English.
