Tuesday 17.3.2020 – Campus Hybernská
We cordially invite all enthusiasts of the Irish culture to the third year of the St. Patrick’s Day Festival which takes place at Campus Hybernská. The entry to all events is free. The festival is co-organised by the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, and the Department of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures at CUFA which participates on the creation of the programme.
Programme
2 pm: free programme at the courtyard of the campus with refreshments at the Jameson stand.
3:30 pm: the Irish parade sets off and walks across the Old Town Square.
Between 5 pm and 7:45 pm in the Large Lecture Room (building E): mini-courses of the Celtic languages and Irish dancing for the general public.
- 5 pm – 5:45 pm: Breton language (Klez Brandar)
- 6 pm – 6:45 pm: Irish language (Radvan Markus)
- 7 pm – 19:45 pm Irish dancing (Andrej Mikulka)
8 pm in the Main Hall (BAR, building E): the concert of Conamara Chaos. You may be looking forward to hearing the traditional Irish music in an inventive modern modification and a dance performance.
