Dr. Haig Utidjian, the chief conductor of the Chorus and Orchestra of Charles University in Prague, will discuss using interesting recordings the development of composers, their compositions, and tradion of interpretation of their interpretation from the position of a conductor, musicologist, and enthusiast of a good music.
The lectures are to be delivered in English and are open both to students and employees of CU FA. The programme is to be held on Zoom, each Wednesday 19:30-21:30 from Wednesday 28 October 2020:

2 December: Interpreting Monteverdi’s Vespro della Beata Vergine of 1610
9 December: An evening of words and music with the pianist Béla Hartmann
16 December: The life and work of Otto Klemperer (1885-1973)
