Guest Lecturer Christopher T. Hank, PhD. at the English Section
Dr. Christopher T. Hank is originally from New York City and is currently based in Berlin at Humboldt University and the Technical University of Berlin, where he teaches English. His research interests include (language) philosophy; cultural studies; world film, music, and literature; (post)colonial history; and political economy. He has written a theory of political slogans and has been examining the life and work of US performing artist Gil Scott-Heron. He is a guest at the Language Centre of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University from March 29 to April 7, 2017.

Dr. Hank will be teaching two subsequent sessions of the Exploring Art and Visual Culture course on March 30 and April 6, 2017 from 15:50 to 17:20. There are approximately ten places available to students who are not enrolled in the course.
