Dr Mark Nixon: Samuel Beckett – The Manuscripts and the Library

Department of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures, Centre for Irish Studies invite you to a lecture “Samuel Beckett: The Manuscripts and the Library” by Dr Mark Nixon (University of Reading).

Mark Nixon is Associate Professor at the Department of English Literature and Beckett Fellow at the University of Reading in the UK. He is also a director of the Beckett International Foundation. His recent publications include Samuel Beckett’s Digital Library (with Dirk Van Hulle and V. Neyt, 2016), Samuel Beckett und die deutsche Literatur (with J. Wilm, 2013), Samuel Beckett’s Library (with D. Van Hulle, 2013), Samuel Beckett’s German Diaries 1936-37 (2011), Publishing Samuel Beckett (2011), new editions of Beckett’s Echo’s Bones (Faber, 2014) and Texts for Nothing and Other Shorter Prose 1950-1976 (Faber, 2010), and a critical manuscript edition of Edwin John Ellis’s and W.B. Yeats’s The Works of William Blake (2016).
