prof. Johannes Bronkhorst: Sāṃkhya as a Brahmanical adaptation of non-Brahmanical beliefs

This lecture will show how beliefs that were originally current outside the realm of Brahmanism gave rise to Sāṃkhya, later considered one of the orthodox Brahmanical systems of philosophy. Sāmkhya subsequently came to participate in developments that characterized those systems.
