Lecture: Classical Archaeology, Submarine Archaeology, and Archaeobotany of the Vanished Ancient Cities: PYRGI A CASTRUM NOVUM

Lecture by the Italian archaeologist and director of the museum in the Etruscan site in Pyrgi (Santa Severa) about the archaeological research in the ancient localities Pyrgi and Castrum Novum on land and under the sea level. The presentation of the research will be accompanied by information about the long-term cooperation of the Italian archaeologists with experts on archaeobotany from the Laboratory of Archaeobotany and Palaeoecology at the Faculty of Science in České Budějovice.
