Workshops, debates, theatre performances, film screenings, musical improvisations, exhibitions, and book presentations await visitors until 22 October 2023. The series is a preface to the Prague MicroFestival, which will take place 20–22 October 2023.
The exhibition “We’re Not Angry, We’re Just Disappointed” is open every day from Monday to Saturday from 12 noon to 4 pm, featuring artworks by artists such as Andy Allen, Louis Armand, Jo Blin, Krotch, Michael John Rowland, Sadofsky & Trantina, Helena Sequens, Dan Trantina. The exhibition is organised by Jo Blin and Michael John Rowland, with set design by the OBJECT:PARADISE collective.
From 4 pm to 6:30 pm, there are various art workshops every day after the exhibition. From 7 pm until late evening, it is followed by music or theatre performances, film screenings and other workshops.
Microlab and the subsequent Prague Micro-Festival is organized by Dr Louis Armand and Dr David Vichnar from the Department of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures at CU FA, PhD student in Slavic Literatures Aljaz Koprivnikar, graduates of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures at CU FA Vít Bohal and Michaela Černá, as well as Tyko Say, Jo Blin, Michael Rowland, and Sandra Paslawka.
