Information for Applicants of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University (9 April 2021)

Due to the Government’s measures and epidemic situation, we are preparing certain changes in the original dates and conditions of the admission process of all study degrees.

Based on the amendment of the Higher Education Act, there will be most likely an adjustment of the conditions of the admission process – in particular, change in the dates of admission examinations of some BA and follow-up MA programmes, their cancellation or simplification.

The specific date and time of admission examinations will be sent to all applicants through the information system and an electronic invitation 15 days before the examination at the latest.

The final information will be published at the end of April. In the meantime, the following applies:

BA and Follow-Up MA Programmes:

  • regular and alternative dates of admission examinations: 1 June – 9 July 2021 (alternative date always at least 5 days after the regular one); in case of a worsened epidemiological situation, some examinations may be held in the period 10-30 July 2021.
  • the announcement of results of admission examinations in the electronic system: 7 days after the date of the last examination at the latest
