In connection with yesterday’s tragic event, a dean’s leave has been declared until 2 January. Unfortunately, access to the main building in nám. Jana Palacha 1/2 is not yet possible – the Police of the Czech Republic are still conducting an investigation.
We are aware that some of you have personal belongings in the building. We will inform you as soon as we can arrange a pick-up.
Today at 11:00 am a funeral wreath will be laid in the area in front of the Carolinum as a sign of respect for our deceased. This memorial is open to all members of the academic community.
