All persons present at the main building of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University (nám. Jana Palacha 1/2, Prague 1) have to attend the drill. The other faculty buildings, where the planned teaching takes place, are not affected. The duration of the event is expected to be 20–30 minutes.
When the fire alarm is announced (by a loudspeaker and siren) on all floors of the building, please leave your classrooms and offices immediately. Please note that the elevators in the building must not be used for evacuation in the event of a fire. Please use only the staircase when exiting the building.
Appointed members of the fire watch will be present on each floor (their attendance is mandatory). They will coordinate the evacuation of the building so that everyone present will go outside to the assembly area on the sidewalks around the building in Široká and Valentinská Streets.
