The management of CU FA expressly condemns Russian aggression against independent and free Ukraine and stands with its colleagues, friends, and citizens of the country whose lives are being destroyed by enemy troops since early this morning.
The assault on Ukraine is an attack on democratic order and values that academia undertakes to defend. We are not only in our thoughts and prayers for Ukraine, but we will also actively seek ways to aid the country with words and actions. We ask our colleagues, students, and supporters to consider making a personal act of solidarity with every resident of the country they can contact in these difficult times and, if possible, also offer financial support. Our society has what can be shared with our neighbours, and the Faculty of Arts perceives this privilege as a moral obligation.
In the following hours and days, the Faculty of Arts will be collecting useful links, offers of cooperation and specific help from colleagues, alumni, supporters, and fellow institutions.
