On Wednesday, 15 December 2021, the president of the Czech Republic named new professors. On the proposal of the Charles University Research Board, four experts from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University: Prof Petr Čermák in Romance languages, Prof Lucie Doležalová in Greek and Latin Studies, Prof Vojtěch Kolman in Philosophy, and Prof Petr Zemánek in Linguistics of a Specific Asian Language.
