As the representatives of the faculty, whose students played an important role in the Velvet Revolution, we condemn the violent response of the state against Belarusian students and other protesters. We remind that the European Union does not recognize the results of the presidential election held in August. We support the rights of Belarusian citizens to decide upon the further course of their country freely, fairly, and democratically.
