A consorcium of universities whose members include Charles University, University of Kent, Freie Universität Berlin, Université Paul Valéry, Montpellier III and Universidade do Porto has received a grant from the European Union as part of the scheme Horizon 2020, Marie Curie Skłodowska Actions – European Joint Doctorate, for its project Migration and Modernity – Historical and Cultural Challenges (MOVES).
The project coordinator is Professor Martin Procházka (Department of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures) and Faculty of Arts, Charles University, is the coordinating institution. The project has received 98% in the evaluation and will be supported for the period of four years.
