The Department of Logic, Faculty of Arts of Charles University in collaboration with Wroclaw University, University of P. J. Šafárik in Košice, A. Rényi Institute of Mathematics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and the Czech Mathematical Society organized a successful international meeting, the Winter School in Abstract Analysis, section Set Theory & Topology, which took place in Hejnice from 31st January to 7th February 2015.
The meeting included four invited tutorial lectures given by renowned experts: prof. Claude Laflamme, University of Calgary (Canada), prof. David Milovich, Texas A&M International University (USA), prof. Justin T. Moore, Cornell University, New York, (USA), and prof. Andrzej Roslanowski, University of Nebraska at Omaha, (USA). In total, 75 participants from diverse countries took part in the meeting.

The conference was financially supported by the Visegrad Fund (www.visegradfund.org). This support enabled the organizers to offer a full waiver of the registration fee to 14 participants (mostly PhD students) and a partial waiver to other 13 participants.
