Students at the Faculty take part in research projects at their institutes and departments and also implement their own research projects, either independently or in small teams. The most common source of funding for such projects is the Grant Agency of CU and internal FA grants. Approximately one hundred projects is implemented each year, worth almost 1 million Euro. Student research projects are usually one to three-years long. They include field research and research fellowships in the Czech Republic and abroad. The great diversity of the projects reflects the number of subjects taught at the Faculty. Project outcomes include active participation at conferences, scientific articles, monographs, and translations.
