            To become a professor in a certain field, the candidate must be a docent (associate profes

            outstanding and recognised scholar in his/her field and author of important scientific or 
            Professorship proceedings are held under the auspices of tertiary education institutions m
            criteria and authorised by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the CR to conduct

            in the relevant fields.  The exceptional status of the FACU in the humanities fields in th
            also in the fact that it has been accredited to perform proceedings for promotion to profe
            specialised fields. A mandatory requirement for promotion is consistent teaching activity 

            doctoral students. The candidate must also submit at least two written recommendations by 
            same or related fields. The qualifications of the candidate are assessed by a specially de

            member board and the Research Board of the faculty, to whom the candidate presents a profe
            and then also by the Research Board of the university. In case of a favourable outcome, th
            named professor in the relevant field by the President of the Republic. More information o
