            The Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague (CUFA) is a traditional centre of Czec
            learning. Its prestige is based on an unmatched number of almost seventy academic discipli

            of study areas and stringent requirements, and on the selective nature of the Faculty refl
            thousands of applications that arrive each year.  
            In the Czech Republic, the Faculty of Arts provides for the teaching of the largest number

            disciplines – Historical Sciences; Philology; Philosophy, Logic & Theory and History of Ar
            Sciences.  

            The Faculty with its seven hundred top teaching and research staff is the most significant
            humanities-oriented educational institution where new and breakthrough ideas are formed in
            taught there, which is in keeping with its centuries-old tradition. The Faculty has almost

            students, who later in their lives often become leading figures in Czech public life; its 
            become prominent actors in the fields of science, culture and politics.
